My Hero Academia Television Series
My Hero Academia is a Japanese comic created by Kōhei Horikoshi. It's been appearing in a magazine called Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014. So far, they've made 40 books collecting all the chapters up until April 2024. It became really popular and led to many other stories being made, like "My Hero Academia: Smash!!", "My Hero Academia: Vigilantes", and "My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions". They also made books without pictures called light novels, plays on stage, and lots of stuff to buy like toys and clothes. They even made video games! And it became a TV show made by Bones.
The first season of the show aired in Japan from April to June 2016, then they made more seasons every year after that. They also made three movies and some short extra episodes. Another movie is coming out soon, and they're working on a real-life version of the show too.
My Hero Academia Plot
Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero, even though his friend Katsuki Bakugo teases him for not having powers. But then he meets his hero, All Might, who gives him his power called "One For All". Izuku goes to hero school with Bakugo and learns to be a hero. But there are bad guys, like the League of Villains, who want to hurt All Might and cause chaos. And there might be a spy at their school.
After a sports festival, Izuku, Shoto, and Tenya stop the villain Stain. Stain's message inspires more villains, including Dabi and Himiko Toga, to join the League of Villains. All Might fights All For One, retiring after defeating him, while Izuku gains new powers. Izuku internships with heroes, helping defeat a yakuza group and discovering new abilities.
The League of Villains gets stronger, merging with another group. Heroes try to stop them but fail, leading to chaos. Izuku leaves to protect loved ones, but returns with friends' support. In a big fight, villains are defeated, but Shigaraki remains a challenge for Izuku.
