Zenless Zone Zero Release Date

Zenless Zone Zero officially launched on July 4, 2024, at 10 a.m. (UTC+8), which corresponded to 7 p.m. PT and 10 p.m. ET on July 3. Players were able to download the game on supported platforms, including Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, and PC, in preparation for the launch.

Developed and published by miHoYo in mainland China and globally published by Cognosphere, d/b/a HoYoverse, Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play action role-playing game.

Zenless Zone Zero Gameplay

In Zenless Zone Zero, players take on the role of a Proxy, either Wise or Belle, who helps others navigate dangerous alternate dimensions known as Hollows. Throughout the game, the Proxy recruits new members to join their party, each bringing unique abilities and skills to enhance the team's strength.

Combat is a core element, where players face off against Ethereal and other enemies. The game emphasizes strategic use of characters' abilities, with Proxies supported by assistants called Bangboos. By combining the abilities of Proxies and Bangboos, players can execute powerful attacks and combos.

The game also features an in-game clock system that divides the day into morning, afternoon, night, and late-night, affecting the availability of events and activities. To succeed, players must carefully manage their team composition and utilize the strengths of both Proxies and Bangboos to maximize damage and efficiency in battles.

Set in a post-apocalyptic futuristic setting known as New Eridu, Zenless Zone Zero unfolds in a world devastated by ethereal beings known as Ethereal, who emerged through portals called Hollows. These entities have wreaked havoc on humanity, nearly wiping them out. The survivors, however, have gathered in a stronghold called New Eridu, where they utilize technology and resources extracted from the Ethereal to fend off further attacks.

The game features a diverse cast of playable characters, each with unique abilities and attributes, engaging players in strategic combat and immersive storytelling. Zenless Zone Zero combines elements of action-packed gameplay with a narrative-driven approach, offering players a rich gaming experience across different platforms.
