Alter brings with her an updated Broken Moon map, the Solos mode for players to showcase their abilities, and the option to customize their heirloom.

1. Alter's Abilities Overview

• Breach Portal Creation (Tactical): Alter generates a portal for breaching that can be positioned on ceilings, doorways, and walls.
• Rift Gift (Passive): Gain the ability to view death boxes through walls and retrieve one item from them.
• Nexus Deployment (Ultimate): Deploy a Nexus as a translocator. Alter and her team can activate the Nexus to return to its location instantly, even if incapacitated.

2. Solo Takeover Mode Details

• A limited-time mode replacing Duos with pre-kitted weapons and attachments.
• A Second Chance mechanic allows players to respawn using a token.
• Battle Sense mechanic detects nearby enemies within 50 meters.
• Auto-heal after some time or health regen upon killing another player.
• Apex Rumble mode with adjustments will return later in the season.

3. Changes to the Broken Moon Map

• Major map changes in Broken Moon due to the Olympus crash, including new rotation points and flow improvements.
• Biome changes, alien eggs, and ferrofluid across the map.
• New Ziprails in POIs for unique fights and smaller camps for more loot.
• A new colorful skybox for the alien town vibe.

4. Introduction of Apex Artifacts

• Universal Mythic Melee Cosmetics for all Legends, customizable with Exotic Shards.
• Cobalt artifacts and future variations can be obtained through the battle pass or shop.

5. Gameplay Balance Adjustments

• The Wingman is no longer in the Care Package rotation, with adjustments to its capabilities.
• The Devotion is now a Care Package weapon.
• Buffs and adjustments to weapons like the Longbow, Boosted Loader hop-up, and removal of 1x Digital Threat from loot pool.
• Crypto, Newcastle, and Ash receive various buffs and changes to their abilities.
