Gameplay
Azur Lane is a simple game where you collect cute shipgirls from World War II. These characters are ships from different navies like the US, UK, Japan, and Germany. You make teams of six shipgirls and fight against computer enemies or other players. Shipgirls can level up by gaining experience from battles and other activities.
You start the game by choosing one of three shipgirls: USS Laffey, HMS Javelin, or Z23/Ayanami. The game has over 450 characters from nine countries. There are special ships like the Japanese Mikasa and Russian Aurora. A new mode called "Operation Siren" was added in December 2020.

Anime Adoptation from Game
In 2018, it was announced that there would be an anime TV series made about Azur Lane. The people making the anime are Tensho, Jin Haganeya, and Yasunori Nishiki. The first episode came out on October 3, 2019. The main singer of the opening song is May'n, and the main singer of the ending song is Kano.
There were two more anime series made about Azur Lane. One came out in 2021 and had 12 episodes. It was made by Yostar Pictures and CANDY BOX. The other one is a short movie with two episodes, which came out in 2023. It was made by Yostar Pictures and is about Azur Lane: Queen's Orders.
Azur Lane Wiki
Azur Lane is a game made by Chinese developers Shanghai Manjuu and Xiamen Yongshi. It came out in 2017 for iOS and Android phones. The game is about World War II, but with a different story. Players shoot enemies from the side of the screen. They control cute girl characters who look like ships from the war.
