"Berserk" is a manga series from Japan, written by Kentaro Miura (ベルセルク, Hepburn: Beruseruku). It is a dark fantasy story that takes place in a setting reminiscent of medieval Europe and centers on Guts, a lone swordsman, and Griffith, the head of the mercenary group "Band of the Hawk." Guts wants his retribution on Griffith for betraying him and turning his allies into demons by sacrificing them.
Young Animal magazine carried the series after it debuted in 1989. The manga was picked back up in June 2022, with aid from Studio Gaga and overseen by Kouji Mori, following Miura's passing in May 2021.
"Berserk" was made into a trilogy of movies (2012) and an anime consisting of 25 episodes (1997–1998). In 2016 and 2017, a second anime series was broadcast.
"Berserk" is one of the best-selling manga series, with over 60 million copies in circulation by September 2023. It is recognized for its gloomy setting, intricate artwork, and storytelling, and it was awarded the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize for Excellence in 2002.
Berserk Chapter 377 Release Date
The publication date of Berserk Chapter 377 was not known as of April. Young Animal magazine's May edition did not include Chapter 377 since the manga had taken yet another hiatus. Fans had been waiting impatiently for this, therefore they were disappointed. Although the next chapter's precise release date was not disclosed, supporters were hoping it wouldn't take too long.
Fans are still waiting for updates as of June, and they are eager to hear more about Guts' amazing trip when the next chapter does eventually come out.
Berserk Plot
"Berserk" chronicles the harrowing and sinister voyage of Guts, an isolated samurai with a tragic past. Born from a hanging corpse, Guts was brought up by his violent adoptive father, Gambino. Guts ran away and turned into a vagrant mercenary after being compelled to murder Gambino for protection. After overcoming him in combat, Guts was forced to enlist by Griffith, the head of the Band of the Hawk, who noticed his skill set.
In their conflict with the Chuder Empire, the Band of the Hawk fought on behalf of the Midland realm. Guts discovered that Griffith had a peculiar pendant named the Behelit and that Griffith had a fantasy of ruling his own kingdom. Guts made the decision to quit the Band and go on his own after many battles.
Griffith was tortured and lost his Behelit, which led to the Band being labeled as criminals. Guts came back to try to save Griffith, but they found he was too damaged to be a leader. Regaining possession of the Behelit set off the Eclipse, a terrifying occurrence in which Griffith killed his allies to transform into the demon Femto, a Godhand member. The only people who made it out of the bloodbath unscathed were Guts and Casca.
Guts made a promise to track down the Apostles—demonic creatures that worked for the Godhand. He got new weaponry to help him in his quest and left Casca in the capable hands of pals. The elf Puck and subsequently friends like Farnese, Serpico, and Isidro accompanied him on his adventure.
In order to help Casca's mind heal, they sought solace in Elfhelm, a country inhabited by elves, while facing numerous obstacles.
Griffith created a new Band of the Hawk in the interim in an attempt to take over the globe. Once Guts' company arrived in Elfhelm, they helped Casca's mind be restored by the elf lord Danann. But when Griffith returned, he abducted Casca, leaving Guts and his pals in a state of confusion and hopelessness. The story continues with Guts and his group getting ready for combat in a realm of darkness and hardship, confronting both old and new foes.
