Bitter Sweet Hell Ending Explained

In Episode 10 of "Bitter Sweet Hell," we learn that Lee Se-na and Moon Tae-o met at an orphanage after losing their families. They see Noh Young-won as their common enemy because she handled cases involving both of their families in the past. To get revenge, they kill Young-won's employee, An Yo-sub, and frame Young-won for the murder.

Episode 11

In Episode 11, Se-na and Tae-o plan to kill An Yo-sub by luring him to a vacation home. Although Tae-o is hesitant, Se-na forces him to go through with it. They frame Young-won's mother-in-law, Sa-gang, for the murder. Tae-o sends a message to Sa-gang, who arrives before Young-won and is wrongly accused. Tae-o plants the murder weapon on Sa-gang. Se-na gets angry at Tae-o and tries to frame him by placing evidence in his house. The police receive an anonymous tip, gather evidence from Tae-o's house, and arrest him. Young-won talks to Tae-o, revealing that Se-na manipulated him. Tae-o is eventually caught, and Sa-gang is released from jail.

Family Dynamics

After being released, Sa-gang and Young-won discuss Se-na's next move. Meanwhile, Jae-jin tells Young-won he is not Sa-gang's biological son. Sa-gang and Young-won stay alert for Se-na. Jae-jin decides to leave his clinic, and Se-na convinces his colleague, Ji Eun, to help destroy Young-won's family. Ji Eun exposes Jae-jin in a talk show, revealing that she performed surgeries for him. Young-won receives a threatening parcel but exposes Se-na at a press conference.

Climax and Resolution

In the finale, Sa-gang records Tae-o's confession about Se-na's involvement. Se-na kidnaps Do-hyun and threatens Young-won. Sa-gang and Mr. Park rescue Do-hyun while Young-won confronts Se-na. A fire starts, and Jae-jin saves Young-won. Se-na decides to die in the fire. In the hospital, Ji Eun confronts Sa-gang but faints. The family enjoys a meal together, and Sa-gang decides to live on her own.

Epilogue

A year later, Young-won becomes a prison counselor and talks to Tae-o. Jae-jin manages a dog shelter, and Do-hyun starts a new life in the US. Young-won finds a book written by Sa-gang and visits her. The series ends with all characters getting a happy ending. There are no confirmed plans for a second season.
