Blackhawk
Blackhawk, stylized as BlackHawk, is an American country music band formed in 1992 by Henry Paul, Van Stephenson, and Dave Robbins. Henry Paul had previously been part of the Southern rock band Outlaws, while Van Stephenson was known as a solo rock artist. The band signed with Arista Nashville in 1993 and quickly found success with their debut single "Goodbye Says It All," which reached No. 11 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. Their self-titled debut album in 1994 was certified 2× Multi-Platinum by the RIAA.
Throughout the 1990s, Blackhawk continued to release hit singles and albums, including a Greatest Hits collection. Sadly, Van Stephenson left the group in 2000 due to health issues related to skin cancer. Randy Threet then joined the band, contributing high harmonies. Despite changes in its lineup, Blackhawk remains known for its distinctive country sound and memorable contributions to the genre.
