Blue Dragon Series Awards 2024 Nominees

The nominees for the Blue Dragon Series Awards 2024 are announced. Sports Chosun is the presenter of this unique award ceremony in South Korea for programs available on streaming services. Commencing in 2022, the ceremony honors the top performers, actresses, and K-dramas. On Friday, July 19, 2024, at 8:50 p.m. KST on KBS2, the award event will take place.

With help from reporters and experts, the nominees were selected through online voting from June 10 to June 25. All series, dramas, and streaming programs that aired between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024, were eligible to win prizes.

2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards

The 2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards were placed in Paradise City, Incheon, on July 19, 2023. The event was planned by Sports Chosun and got underway around 8:30 PM KST. Live on KBS2, it was presented by Jun Hyun-moo and Im Yoon-ah. June 26, 2023, saw the announcement of the nominations.

Nominations were limited to television shows created or funded by OTT platforms that aired between May 1, 2022, and May 31, 2023. With five nominations for each drama and variety show, respectively, The Glory and SNL Korea received the greatest nominations.

Blue Dragon Series

Blue Dragon is a Japanese anime TV show based on the Blue Dragon video games. The anime was made by Studio Pierrot and shown on TV Tokyo. The first season had 51 episodes and aired from April 2007 to March 2008. The second season, called Blue Dragon: Trials of the Seven Shadows, also had 51 episodes and aired from April 2008 to March 2009. In North America, Viz Media got the rights to show the series.
