Who is BLXST?
Blxst, born Matthew Dean Burdette on September 17, 1992, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Los Angeles. His stage name is pronounced "blast." He first gained attention with his debut EP No Love Lost, released on September 4, 2020, through his label Evgle in partnership with Red Bull Records.
The popular song "Chosen," which features Tyga and Ty Dolla Sign, was part of the EP. Blxst followed up with his debut mixtape Before You Go on April 22, 2022. Blxst combines rap and R&B in his music, which has led to significant industry recognition.
