Who is Buddy Matthews?

Buddy Matthews is an Australian wrestler, his real name is Mathew Adams. He wrestles for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as part of the group House of Black and has held the AEW World Trios Championship once. Buddy Matthews Career

Before joining WWE, Buddy Matthews wrestled mainly in Australia as Matt Silva, competing in promotions like Professional Championship Wrestling (PCW) and Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW). In 2013, he moved to the United States to work for WWE's developmental territory NXT. There, he teamed up with Wesley Blake and won the NXT Tag Team Championship, becoming the first Australian to achieve this in WWE.

Buddy Mathews joined WWE's main roster in 2018 on 205 Live and won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship later that year. He moved to SmackDown in April 2019 and then to Raw in October 2019, where he partnered with Seth Rollins and won the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship. Murphy left WWE in June 2021 and wrestled for New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Major League Wrestling as "Buddy Matthews". He debuted in All Elite Wrestling in February 2022.
