About Childish Gambino
Childish Gambino is an American actor, comedian, singer, rapper, writer, director, and producer. He started his career after joining a comedy group called Derrick Comedy while studying at New York University. At the age of 23, he got a job writing for the TV show "30 Rock," thanks to Tina Fey. He became famous for playing Troy Barnes on the TV show "Community" from 2009 to 2014. From 2016 to 2022, he created and sometimes directed the TV series "Atlanta," for which he won several awards, including two Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards.
He was born in California on September 25, 1983, and grew up in Georgia. His parents worked in various jobs, and they were foster parents for many years. He was raised as a Jehovah's Witness but is not religious anymore. He has a younger brother, Stephen, who works with him, and a sister named Brianne. In 2018,Gambino revealed that his father had passed away.
Gambino started dating Michelle White in 2015, and they got married in January 2024, during the production of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." They have three sons, born in early 2016, January 2018, and 2020.
