About Days of Our Lives
Days of Our Lives is an American TV soap opera. It aired on NBC from 1965 to 2022 and now streams new episodes on Peacock. It is one of the longest-running scripted TV shows in the world, airing almost every weekday since November 8, 1965.
It is produced by Corday Productions and Sony Pictures Television. The series was created by husband-and-wife team Ted and Betty Corday. In the early years, Irna Phillips, who created other soap operas like Another World, As the World Turns, and Guiding Light, was a story editor. Many early storylines were written by William J. Bell, who left the show in 1975 to work on The Young and the Restless, which he created in 1973 for CBS.
After Passions was canceled in 2007, Days of Our Lives became the only soap opera on NBC. On August 3, 2022, NBCUniversal announced that the show would move exclusively to the Peacock streaming service starting September 12, after 57 years on NBC. This move left NBC as the only major network without a daytime soap opera. As of March 2023, Days of Our Lives is renewed until September 2025. The soap celebrated its 14,000th episode on December 17, 2020.
Is Eric Leaving Days of Our Lives?

While Nicole claims she wants Eric to be happy, she secretly wishes he would stay.
