Does Rudeus Get His Arm Back in Mushoku Tensei?

Yes, Rudeus does get his arm back in Mushoku Tensei. At first, he tries to heal it with a spell called Shining Healing, but it doesn't work well enough. Later on, his arm is fully healed by Orsted’s powerful King Class Healing Magic from the novel.

Before that, Rudeus uses a prosthetic arm made with help from Zanoba and Cliff. This prosthetic arm, known as Zariff’s arm, becomes useful to him, even after he regains his natural arm.

How did Rudeus End up Losing his Arm in Mushoku Tensei?

In "Mushoku Tensei," Rudeus loses his arm while trying to save his mother, Zenith, from a dangerous creature called the Manatite-Hydra in a place called the Teleporter Labyrinth. They find Zenith trapped in crystal and guarded by this Hydra.

Rudeus, along with his father Paul and their group, tries to defeat the Hydra, but it’s tough. They regroup and decide to cut off the Hydra’s heads and burn them so they won’t grow back.

They manage to cut most of the heads, but the last one kills Paul and cuts off Rudeus’s arm. Rudeus tries to attack the Hydra in return, but it grabs him and tears off his arm. This is a big moment in Rudeus’s life, changing him deeply and reminding him of his father’s bravery.
