Netflix has confirmed the renewal of "Delicious in Dungeon" for a second season following its popular debut. The announcement came after the season finale, with the show's official account sharing a new key visual and teaser that quickly became viral. The story follows a group of characters navigating through dungeons and dealing with challenges related to food. An anime adaptation produced by Trigger aired from January to June 2024. Recently, it was announced that a second season of the anime will be coming soon.

In a fantasy world where adventurers explore dungeons for treasure, a group faces a tragic setback when they fail to defeat a red dragon. In the chaos, the dragon captures the leader's sister, Falin Touden. The surviving members Laios Touden, a swordsman, Chilchuck Tims, a locksmith and Marcille Donato, a spellcaster must find a way back to save her.

They decide to venture deeper into the dungeon despite losing most of their supplies. Inside, they meet Senshi, a skilled dwarf who survives by cooking monsters and foraging for food. Together, they navigate through various dungeon levels filled with traps, monsters, and unexpected challenges. Along the way, they not only fight for survival but also discover the unique culinary delights that the dungeon has to offer.
