The number of aether currents in all Endwalker areas has been reduced.

* Players who met this new aether current requirement prior to the release of Patch 7.0 will unlock the ability to fly in each area.

Quests

Patch 7.0 introduces myriad quests in addition to the main scenario. As such, there may be cases where the patch notes only cite the initial quest in a series, or omit quests entirely to prevent spoilers. We encourage players to explore and discover what new stories and adventures await.

So that all players are able to enjoy the expansion at their own pace, we kindly ask that you do not post main scenario spoilers on the official forums, Lodestone, social media, or in videos.

New main scenario quests have been added.

New side story quests have been added.

Side story quests added in Patch 7.0 will employ an automatic level adjust system known as Quest Sync.

Quests using this system will have their difficulty and EXP rewards adjusted to match your current level. * Certain side story quests do not use Quest Sync.

Thanalan Bottled Fantasy

Any class or job level 1 Ul'dah - Steps of Thal (X:13.4 Y:9.2) Medicine Merchant Players must first complete the main scenario quest "The Scions of the Seventh Dawn."

Players will receive a phial of Fantasia upon completing this quest.

Role quests have been added.

Uncouth Customers

Disciple of War or Magic level 90 Tuliyollal (X:12.4 Y:14.5) Br'uk Evu Players must progress to a certain point in the Dawntrail main scenario.

Tank (Paladin / Warrior / Dark Knight / Gunbreaker) The Narwhal Beckons

Paladin, Warrior, Dark Knight, or Gunbreaker level 90 Tuliyollal (X:12.9 Y:15.0) Loazenikwe Players must first complete the role quest "Uncouth Customers."

Melee DPS (Monk / Dragoon / Ninja / Samurai / Reaper / Viper) The Hunter and the Hunted

Monk, Dragoon, Ninja, Samurai, Reaper, or Viper level 90 Radz-at-Han (X:11.8 Y:14.9) Shashepya Players must first complete the role quest "Uncouth Customers."

Physical Ranged DPS (Bard / Machinist / Dancer) To Steal a Steelhog Bard, Machinist, or Dancer level 90

Tuliyollal (X:12.5 Y:15.0) Raholl Ja Players must first complete the role quest "Uncouth Customers."

Magical Ranged DPS (Black Mage / Summoner / Red Mage / Pictomancer)

Power Forgotten Black Mage, Summoner, Red Mage, or Pictomancer level 90 Tuliyollal (X:12.8 Y:14.8) Tsuuhe

Players must first complete the role quest "Uncouth Customers."

Healer (White Mage / Scholar / Astrologian / Sage) In the Sting of Things

Final Fantasy 14 Version 7.0 Release Date

Final Fantasy 14 Version 7.0, called Dawntrail, releases on July 2, 2024. Early access begins on June 28, 2024. Players in early access can start playing at 2am Pacific, 5am Eastern, and 10am UK time. The game will be fully available for everyone on July 2. Be ready for new adventures and content.
