How to Complete Convalescence Budding Quest in Destiny 2 the Final Shape?

The Convalescence: Budding quest is the final part of the Microcosm Exotic quest line. You need to complete three campaign missions in Cooperative Focus mode. These missions are located in the Pale Heart Destinations tab, under Transgression.

Light Level Requirement

  • Missions are set at a Light level of 2,005.
  • Enemies are similar in strength to those in the Legendary campaign.
  • These missions cannot be completed solo.

Finding a Fireteam

  • You need at least one teammate.
  • If you don’t have a clan mate or friend, use Fireteam Finder to team up with other players.

New Cooperative Mechanics

1. Scourge Berserkers

  • Fallen Berserkers are invulnerable until their shield is broken.
  • To break the shield, approach the Berserker to trigger a wave of slowing energy.
  • Two red glowing markers will appear on the front and back of the Berserker.
  • Teammates need to shoot these markers simultaneously to break the shield and make the boss vulnerable.

2. Glyphtouched Buff

  • One player will see a symbol and call it out to the fire team.
  • Another player must shoot the Cruxes of Darkness with the matching symbol.

3. Fractured by the Witness

  • This debuff builds up over time and kills the player once it reaches 10 stacks.
  • Transfer the debuff to another fireteam member after reaching seven stacks to reset the timer.
  • This debuff needs to be managed throughout the entire mission.

To finish the Convalescence: Budding quest in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, you need good teamwork. Talk clearly with your team to identify symbols and coordinate your actions well. Practice passing the Fractured by the Witness debuff between teammates to avoid anyone getting too many stacks and dying. When dealing with Scourge Berserkers, stick close together to break their shields quickly. These tips will help you work together effectively and complete the quest successfully in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2

Destiny 2 is a free-to-play online shooter game developed by Bungie. Originally a paid game in 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and Windows, it became free under "New Light" in October 2019, expanding to Stadia, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Bungie took over publishing from Activision in 2019. Set in a science fiction world, it blends multiplayer and role-playing elements.

Players, as Guardians, protect Earth's last city using Light against alien threats like the Darkness. The game includes PvE (missions, strikes, raids) and PvP modes (objective-based and deathmatch). Expansions like Forsaken and Beyond Light added new content and gameplay changes.
