The official announcement came on January 22, 2024, revealing Cody Rhodes as the Standard Edition cover star, and Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair for the Deluxe Edition. A "40 Years of WrestleMania" Edition was also introduced, offering unique content like the WrestleMania XL arena and playable superstars.

The game includes MyRise with two new storylines: Unleashed and Undisputed. All editions will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Series S, and come with a month of Peacock Premium for US users until April 14, 2024, with codes expiring on May 31, 2024.
