How to Watch House of The Dragon Season 2 Premiere?
House of The Dragon Season 2 premiered in the US on HBO's regular TV channel and their streaming service Max on Sunday, June 16 at 9 p.m. Eastern and Pacific Time. The rest of the eight episodes will come out every Sunday, with the last one on Aug. 4.
House of The Dragon Season 2
The second season of House of the Dragon will start on June 16, 2024, with eight episodes. Before its premiere, the series was renewed for a third season. Created by George R. R. Martin and Ryan Condal for HBO, it's a fantasy drama and a prequel to Game of Thrones. The first season premiered on August 21, 2022, and the second season is its continuation.
Based on sections from Martin's book Fire & Blood published in 2018, the series starts around a century after the Targaryen conquest united the Seven Kingdoms. This is nearly 200 years before the events in Game of Thrones and 172 years prior to Daenerys Targaryen's birth. The show's diverse cast tells how House Targaryen began to decline, focusing on a destructive civil war called the "Dance of the Dragons".
House of The Dragon Season 2 Plot
In Season 2 of House of the Dragon, viewers will be drawn into a civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons. They'll have to choose sides between the Green and Black Councils, supporting either King Aegon or Queen Rhaenyra. These two leaders will clash over who should rule Westeros based on their family history. The show has already been renewed for a third season, promising more intense battles and epic dragon fights as the conflict escalates.
