After Andie had threatened to expose an inappropriate relationship with her English teacher, Elliot Ward, she went home where an argument with Becca turned tragic.

In A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, a small town, Little Kilton, is shaken by the murder of popular student Andie Bell and the suicide of her boyfriend, Sal Singh, who was accused of her murder. Seventeen-year-old Pippa Fitz-Amobi believes the real killer is still out there, so she teams up with Sal's younger brother, Ravi, to investigate under the guise of a school project. As they dig deeper, Pippa learns that Andie was involved in drug dealing and had an affair with her teacher, Mr. Ward.
After a confrontation, Pippa discovers that Mr. Ward accidentally pushed Andie, leading to her death, and then killed Sal to cover it up. Becca, Andie’s sister, confesses to pushing Andie in anger. After the truth comes out, Sal is declared innocent, and Pippa starts a podcast called A Good Girl's Guide To Murder to share her findings.
