Yes Blaze has left the show General Hospital. In the August 13 episode of General Hospital, Kristina, who was very upset, ended her relationship with Blaze. She encouraged Blaze to go on tour as the opening act for Ricky Martin’s character, Miguel Morez. Because of this, Jacqueline Grace Lopez, who plays Blaze, will no longer be on the show in Port Charles.

The actress said, “Not gonna lie, this goodbye hurts. I think because I didn’t see it coming. That and when you spend almost two years with this group, you start to feel like part of the fabric. I’m so grateful to Frank [Valentini, the show’s EP] for asking me back. I am grateful to everyone I got to tell stories with, both in front [of] and behind the camera. This cast and crew work so hard and have taught me so much. Jobs come and go, but it’s the people you miss. I’m definitely going to miss this bunch.

Jacqueline Grace Lopez plays Blaze on General Hospital. The actress recentely revealed that she is leaving the show. About her exit, the actress said, “I’ve mentioned that as a brown girl, it’s so hard to see ourselves in media, period,” she added. “To have writers introduce Latiné story elements because of my character? Even adding a Latiné last name to my character’s name? Getting on-screen family and backstory as a non-contract actor? Being a part of the opening titles?! Turning a 10-episode part into almost two years? Babyy, she done did that! Sometimes we have to be the change we don’t see.”

Blaze first appeared on General Hospital in 2022. She became involved in a significant storyline when she started a romantic relationship with Kristina, a character from the show's mob-related storylines. Their relationship was a source of drama and conflict, especially with Blaze’s mother, Natalia, who disapproved of the relationship. Blaze's character eventually left the show after her storyline concluded.

It's disappointing that Blaze and Kristina's relationship ended. After losing Molly and TJ's baby, Kristina felt too messed up to love anyone. They stayed close friends until Jessie (played by Emily McLaughlin) passed away in 1991. Dr. Hardy (played by John Beradino) died five years later in 1996.
