A new feature called "Heat" allows characters to do extra damage, perform new moves, and dash cancel their attacks. When in the "Heat" state, characters can also stop the Heat timer by using their moves. Fighters receive chip damage when blocking heavy or Heat State attacks, and can only regain health by attacking their opponents.
