After retiring from playing, he became a coach for several teams, including Free State Cheetahs, Western Province, and Munster. Rassie Erasmus Career
Rassie Erasmus is a famous rugby player and coach. He started playing with the Free State team, then moved to the Golden Lions and the Cats, where he was captain for a while. He finished playing with the Stormers in 2003. He also played for South Africa 36 times between 1997 and 2001 and was part of the team in the 1999 Rugby World Cup.
After he stopped playing, Erasmus became a coach. He started with the Free State Cheetahs, then moved to the Cheetahs, and worked as a technical adviser for the South African team. He coached Western Province and the Stormers, and in 2011, he was a technical specialist for South Africa. He was also the Director of Rugby at Munster from 2016 to 2017.
