NYSC Mobilization Time Table for 2024
NYSC stands for National Youth Service Corps, a one-year mandatory service for Nigerian graduates. The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) was established in Nigeria in 1973 with the main goal of promoting national unity and integration among Nigerian youth.
One of the key objectives of the program is to encourage young Nigerians to live and work in regions outside their states of origin, which exposes them to the country’s cultural diversity.

What is the NYSC Age Limit?
To participate in Nigeria's compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, graduates must be below or not above the age of 30 years at the time of their graduation.
If a graduate is above 30 years old by the time they complete their studies, they are not eligible for the mandatory one-year service and will instead receive a Certificate of Exemption. This certificate is considered equivalent to the NYSC Discharge Certificate, which is awarded to those who successfully complete the service year.
How long is NYSC Training?
The 21-day orientation course is the first phase of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. During this phase, new corps members receive various forms of training, including military drills, leadership skills, and seminars aimed at preparing them for their year of service.
The orientation course takes place at designated orientation camps across Nigeria and is designed to instill discipline, unity, and national consciousness in the participants.
