Is Stefan Leaving Days of Our Lives?
Stefan is not leaving the show. The show confirmed it, and it seems like Stefan might be off our screens for a bit, but he’s not gone for good. This week, the show made us think several characters might leave. In next week's promo, Stefan confronts EJ instead of leaving town, likely to get help with Gabi. EJ feels confident enough to help Eric with his divorce from Sloan.
Johnny and Chanel don’t seem to be leaving either. Their exit feels off because the show is making a big deal out of it, unlike how they handle other characters leaving. There’s probably something else going on that will make them stay.
Stefan DiMera Portrayed By
Stefan Octavius DiMera is a character on the TV show Days of Our Lives. He was first played by Tyler Christopher on December 29, 2017. Later, Brandon Barash took over the role on March 22, 2019, but Stefan was killed off on October 11, 2019. He briefly came back on May 4, 2020, in a hallucination scene.
Stefan is the son of Vivian Alamain and Stefano DiMera, a fact that was not known before. In August 2020, it was revealed that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf had brought Stefan back to life. In October 2023, Brandon Barash's role as Stefan was reduced to recurring status on the show.
When Did Days of Our Lives Start?
"The soap opera Days of Our Lives has been on TV almost every weekday since November 8, 1965. It's one of the oldest scripted TV shows worldwide. It was created by Ted Corday and Betty Corday, and they started it with Corday Productions and Sony Pictures Television. In the beginning, Irna Phillips and William J. Bell helped with the show.
After Passions ended in 2007, Days of Our Lives was the only soap opera left on NBC. But in August 2022, NBCUniversal said the show would move to Peacock, a streaming service, on September 12. This move came after 57 years on NBC, making NBC the only Big Three network without a daytime soap opera."
