Career
In October 2006, Michael Strahan tied the Giants record for most career sacks with 132.5. This happened during a game against the Dallas Cowboys. Sadly, he got injured two weeks later and missed the rest of the season and the playoffs.
Strahan came back for one final season in 2007. He set a new Giants record with 133.5 career sacks and helped the Giants win Super Bowl XLII. He retired in June 2008 with 141.5 sacks. He was added to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014 and had his number 92 retired by the Giants in November 2021.
