She also played Annika Johnson on the drama Bates Motel. From 2017 to 2024, Spiridakos starred as Detective Hailey Upton on the NBC police drama Chicago P.D.
He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek parents, George and Anastasia Spiridakos, who owned a restaurant. She has two brothers. When she was young, the family moved to her father's hometown, Skala, in Greece, but returned to Canada in 1992. Tracy strongly identifies with her Greek heritage and speaks fluent Greek. She started acting in junior high school and studied at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She graduated from Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000.
