Tyler Reddick began racing at age four in Outlaw Karts and quickly progressed through various racing series. He was the youngest driver to achieve several milestones, including qualifying for major races in dirt late models and sprint cars.

Reddick entered the Camping World Truck Series in 2013 with Ken Schrader Racing but had a crash-filled debut.
