Is Wolverine Dead?
Wolverine did die in his last movie, but there's a clever way the filmmakers brought him back. Wolverine has a unique power: he heals super fast. This special ability lets him recover from injuries that would be fatal for most people. So, even though he died in his previous film, the healing power makes it possible for him to come back to life.
In the new movie, "Deadpool & Wolverine," the filmmakers use this healing power to explain how Wolverine is alive again, despite what happened before. This is a common trick in superhero stories, where extraordinary abilities can change the rules of life and death. So, if you were wondering how Wolverine is back, it's all thanks to his amazing healing powers.

Is Wolverine Marvel or DC?
Wolverine is a character from Marvel Comics. Wolverine was created by writer Len Wein and artist John Romita, Sr., making his first appearance in 1974. Known for his razor-sharp claws and rapid healing abilities, Wolverine is a key member of the X-Men, a superhero team in the Marvel Universe.
He is not a DC Comics character, which is another major comic book company. Marvel and DC are two separate comic book publishers, each with its own unique characters and stories.
Who Plays Wolverine?
Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine. He first took on the role in the 2000 film X-Men and has appeared in several sequels and spin-offs, including Logan (2017). Jackman’s portrayal of Wolverine, a character with retractable claws and a healing factor, is well-known for its intensity and depth.
Even though Jackman had said that Logan would be his last performance as Wolverine, he returned for Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). His performance has made Wolverine one of the most popular and iconic characters in the Marvel universe.

Deadpool and Wolverine
Deadpool & Wolverine is a 2024 superhero film from Marvel Studios. It features Deadpool and Wolverine and is the 34th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Directed by Shawn Levy, the film follows Deadpool, pulled from his quiet life by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) to save his universe, and teaming up with Wolverine from another universe.
Development started at 20th Century Fox in 2016 but was delayed after Disney acquired the studio in 2019. The film keeps the R rating of previous Deadpool movies and is set to be released in the U.S. on July 26, 2024.
Deadpool and Wolverine Plot
In 2018, Wade Wilson uses Cable's time-travel device to visit Earth-616, where he asks to join the Avengers but is turned down. Six years later, Wade has quit Deadpool and is working as a used car salesman after breaking up with his girlfriend Vanessa. During his birthday party, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) captures him and brings him to Mr. Paradox. Paradox tells Wade that his timeline is falling apart because James "Logan" Howlett, who keeps the timeline stable, has died. Wade steals a device from Paradox to find a different Logan to save his timeline.
Wolverine's death in the last movie is explained by his healing power, which helps him come back to life. In Deadpool & Wolverine (2024), this power shows why he's back despite past events. They eventually meet Cassandra Nova, who controls minds and has made a deal with the TVA. Nova kills Johnny Storm and captures Wade and Logan. After escaping, Wade and Logan join a resistance group to fight Nova. They eventually defeat her and destroy the "Time Ripper," a device that can destroy timelines. Logan stays in Wade's timeline, and Wade reconciles with Vanessa.
