Kuro Games provides a free-to-play action role-playing game called Wuthering Waves. The release date is May 23, 2024 (UTC+8). Like Genshin Impact, this Gacha game has an open universe, but it places more value on fighting. The events of Wuthering Waves take place in the future following the Lament, a catastrophic event.

The majority of humanity lost in this disaster which also unleashed strange monsters and animals. After learning to live with these beasts, people began to recreate civilization. You take on the role of the Rover, who wakes with no memory. You will see new places, see breathtaking sights, and learn about modern technology while you travel.

Gameplay

The world of Wuthering Waves is open. Instead of controlling the Rover, the main character, you can also take control of secondary characters known as Resonators, who are available in 4- and 5-star rarities. You can use your characters in a variety of battle challenge situations in the endgame.

The game features a Gacha system where you can get weapons and Resonators by clicking on banners called Convenes. Convenes come in three different types standard, event, and novice. Also, there is a pity system that guarantees a 5-star item after a certain number of pulls.
