Career
In July 2009, Joshua Homme, Dave Grohl, and John Paul Jones started a music project called Them Crooked Vultures. They had their first show on August 9, 2009, in Chicago, and released their album on November 17, 2009. They went on a world tour and won a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2011.
The band has not performed much recently because the members have other projects. They reunited for a tribute to Foo Fighters' drummer Taylor Hawkins, performing at Wembley Stadium on September 3, 2022, and again at the KIA Forum on September 27, 2022.
