The Carnival of Doom is a fun side quest in Once Human. You will find it while traveling around the Island of Nalcott. In this quest, you play Russian roulette with a clown named Chuckles. But Chuckles cheats, so you need to cheat too to win.

Chuckles will always try to win by cheating, and you can't beat him unless you cheat as well. This can be hard to figure out but don't worry. We'll tell you how to start and finish the Carnival of Doom quest. This will help you complete this tricky side mission without getting stuck.

How to Complete Carnival of Doom in Once Human?

When you interact with the revolver, you will meet Chuckles, the clown. Your mission is to beat him in a game of Russian roulette. But Chuckles cheats, so you need to cheat too. To cheat, follow the black wire from the device on the desk next to Chuckles. It leads to another clown who is helping Chuckles cheat.

Talk to V, who will tell you to take down this clown. Go outside through the large door, turn left, and find the clown to defeat him. Investigate the terminal he was using and go back to Chuckles. Accept his challenge, pull the trigger, and you will win. This completes the Carnival of Doom quest.

How to Start Carnival of Doom in Once Human?

In Once Human, starting the Carnival of Doom quest is straightforward. First, head to Rift Anchor Junkyard, located west and slightly south of Meyer’s Market at coordinates (3583, -7066). This area is for players at least level 19 and is filled with Rosetta Agents. Once you've dealt with these enemies, find warehouse number 17.

Inside, past the entrance, you’ll spot a group of Rosetta Agents near a Gear Crate. Defeat them to reach a small revolver highlighted on a box nearby. Interact with this revolver, known as "Carnival of Doom," to trigger a cutscene that begins the quest and introduces you to Chuckles, starting your adventure in Once Human.

Side Quest: Finding Chuckles

• Find the Revolver: To start the Carnival of Doom quest in Once Human, go to warehouse number 17 in Rift Anchor Junkyard (coordinates 3585, -7065).
• Interact with the Revolver: Look for a glowing revolver inside Warehouse 17. Interacting with it will begin the Carnival of Doom side quest.
• Level Requirement: You should be at least level 19 to handle the enemies, like Rosetta Agents, in this area.
• Defeat Enemies: Before starting the quest, defeat around five Rosetta Agents who guard the warehouse.
• Trigger the Quest: Once the area is clear, interact with the revolver to trigger a cutscene and meet Chuckles, starting your adventure in the Carnival of Doom.

Carnival of Doom Reward

Unfortunately, even though you use a revolver in the Carnival of Doom quest, you won't get to keep it or any other handgun as a reward. After defeating Chuckles at roulette, the objective might suggest you'll receive a new Deviation, but that's not true.

It seems there might be a translation issue in the game, especially since it's still in beta. To get your reward, interact with the box on the table near Chuckles, where the black wire was connected. This will give you blueprints for a decent sniper rifle, not a revolver or a Deviation.
