Gameplay

Plot
Shin Megami Tensei V is about a high school student who gets caught in a strange earthquake and ends up in a different Tokyo called Da'at. In this Tokyo, angels and demons are fighting a big battle. With the help of a powerful being named Aogami, the student becomes a Nahobino, which is a strong creature that's not completely human or demon.
The main character travels through Da'at, makes friends like Shohei Yakumo, and faces demon challenges. Things get trickier when they discover Bethel, a group protecting humans during the war. The plot becomes very serious when demons attack the main character's school and take some students. This leads to a mission to rescue them, during which some characters make sacrifices.
In the game, players make choices that affect what happens. They can keep things as they are, bring back old gods, or let humans decide without any gods. Doing extra tasks and teaming up with others can lead to different endings. It's a fun way for players to explore different paths and have a lot of choices in the game.
