Star Trek Discovery Series Finale
In the last episode of Star Trek: Discovery, they talk about some strange but real science stuff. They show black holes doing things that are actually possible. The crew finds a spaceship near two black holes, parked at a special spot called a Lagrange point. They wonder if this kind of thing could happen for real.
In real life, black holes often come in pairs and dance around each other. When they crash together, they send out ripples in space called gravitational waves. Lagrange points are spots in space where the pull from two objects, like black holes or planets, balances out perfectly. It's like finding the right spot to park in a game of cosmic tug-of-war.
So, even though it's a TV show, the science they talk about is not all made up. It is based on real things happening out there in space.
Star Trek Discovery Recap
In this episode of Star Trek: Discovery, called "Lagrange Point", the crew goes on an exciting journey into space. They chase a spaceship full of fancy technology to a lonely star system controlled by two big black holes. There, they find the spaceship parked at a special spot called a Lagrange point.
The show talks about Lagrange points, which are places in space where the gravity from two big things balances out just right. It's like a special parking spot in space where a spaceship doesn't need much fuel to stay put. We see two black holes swirling around each other, which is something real that happens in space. It's like a cosmic dance. This part of the show mixes real science with cool storytelling.
The episode also explains why Lagrange points are handy for putting spaceships. It's easy to understand and shows how science can be useful and interesting. "Lagrange Point" is a fun episode that mixes space adventure with real science stuff. It makes us excited for what's coming next in Star Trek: Discovery!

Star Trek: Discovery is a sci-fi TV show from the United States. It was created by Bryan Fuller and Alex Kurtzman for a streaming service called CBS All Access (now called Paramount+). It's the seventh Star Trek show and started in 2017. The series follows the adventures of the crew on a spaceship called Discovery. It's set ten years before the events of the original Star Trek show, in the 23rd century. After its second season, the show jumps ahead to the 32nd century for the later seasons.
Star Trek: Discovery was first announced in November 2015, marking the return of Star Trek to TV after a break since Star Trek: Enterprise ended in 2005. The show is made by CBS Studios along with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Bryan Fuller was supposed to run the show at first, but he left because of creative differences. Then Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts took over for the first season. Later, Alex Kurtzman became the main person in charge, joined by Michelle Paradise for the third season.
