Stray Kids New Album Release Date
Stray Kids, the popular K-pop group under JYP Entertainment, is set to release their new comeback album titled "Ate" on July 19th. The album's lead single, "Chk Chk Boom," will be accompanied by a music video premiering on JYP Entertainment's official YouTube channel. The release times are scheduled for 1 p.m. KST in South Korea, 12 a.m. ET in the US, 6 a.m. CET in Europe, 5 a.m. BST in the UK, and 9:30 a.m. IST in India.
Prior to the album's launch, Stray Kids generated excitement among fans with teaser videos for "Chk Chk Boom," each garnering over 2 million views shortly after release. Following the global release, Stray Kids will kick off their "DominAte" World Tour in Seoul on August 24th, with plans to perform in various countries including Singapore, Australia, Japan, and Thailand, among others.

Stray Kids
Stray Kids is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment in 2017 through a reality show. The group consists of eight members, known for their self-production and songwriting, with 3Racha as their main producing team. They debuted with the EP "Mixtape" in 2018 and gained popularity with subsequent releases like "I Am Not," "Clé" trilogy, and "Go Live," which went platinum in Korea. Their album "Noeasy" became their first million-seller in 2021. Stray Kids topped the Billboard 200 with EPs like "Oddinary," "Maxident," and "Rock-Star," and their album "5-Star" achieved five million sales. They have sold over 10 million albums as of 2022 and were recognized on Time's Next Generation Leaders list in 2023.
Stray Kids Career
Stray Kids formed in 2017 through a JYP Entertainment reality show. They debuted with the pre-debut EP "Mixtape" in 2018, featuring the song "Hellevator." Their official debut EP, "I Am Not," came in March 2018 with the lead track "District 9." The group continued to release successful EPs like "I Am Who" and "I Am You" in 2018, followed by the "Clé" series in 2019, which included hits like "Miroh" and "Side Effects." Woojin left the group in late 2019, leading to adjustments in their lineup and releases.
In 2020, Stray Kids debuted in Japan with the album "SKZ2020" and released their studio album "Go Live," featuring hits like "God's Menu." They also launched the "In Life" reissue and released their first Japanese EP, "All In," with the title track of the same name. The group held their first online concert and later joined the show "Kingdom: Legendary War," winning and releasing the song "Wolfgang." In 2021, they released their second studio album "Noeasy," achieving over 1 million sales and multiple wins with the lead single "Thunderous." They also collaborated on the track "Going Dumb" and released a Christmas-themed album, "Christmas EveL."
In 2022, Stray Kids signed with Republic Records for US promotions and released their EP "Oddinary," which topped charts worldwide. They embarked on the Maniac World Tour and later released the Japanese EP "Circus" and surprise single "Mixtape: Time Out." In 2023, they debuted their Japanese album "The Sound," achieved global success with the album "5-Star," and held a successful 5-Star Dome Tour. They released "Social Path / Super Bowl (Japanese Ver.)" and the EP "Rock-Star," which topped charts globally. In 2024, they released the single "Lose My Breath" featuring Charlie Puth and are preparing to release their EP "Ate" with a new lead single "Chk Chk Boom."
