The Atypical Family Ending Explained
At the end of The Atypical Family, Gwi Ju gets hurt and worries about a dream his mom had of him dying. He hides the injury from Da Hae but she finds out. In the last episode, Gwi Ju tries to figure out how long he has left to live.
Later, Dong Hee sets up Grace's uncle with Da Hae's dad, but Ji Han is jealous and tries to ruin things. Da Hae notices Gwi Ju always wears turtlenecks and finds a scar on his neck while he sleeps. Gwi Ju asks her to keep it a secret until after In Ha's contest.
During the school fire, In Ha panics but Da Hae rescues her. Gwi Ju holds up a falling wall, allowing them to escape. He disappears to go back in time and save Da Hae.
