The Sum of All Fears Ending Explained
Ryan makes it to the Pentagon and sends a message to Nemerov, telling him that Russia was not behind the attack. He asks Nemerov to stop his forces as a sign of goodwill. Nemerov agrees, and Fowler also follows this decision. The people responsible for the attack, including Olson and Dressler, are killed.
