The Traitors
The Traitors, also called The Traitors US outside of the United States, is an American reality competition show based on the Dutch series De Verraders. The show is hosted by Scottish actor Alan Cumming. The first season premiered on Peacock on January 12, 2023. In February 2023, the show was renewed for a second season, with the first three episodes released on January 12, 2024. In February 2024, it was renewed for a third season.
Following the premise of De Verraders, the show features contestants in a game similar to Mafia. A small group of contestants becomes the "Traitors" and works together to eliminate the other contestants to win the grand prize. The remaining contestants, known as 'Faithfuls', must find and vote out the Traitors to win the prize.
The American version is closely related to its British counterpart, both produced by Studio Lambert for the BBC and Peacock. They share the same location, props, and missions, with the main difference being the hosts.
When is Traitors Season 3 Coming Out?
As of now, Peacock has not yet announced an official premiere date for Season 3 of The Traitors. The first season of The Traitors premiered on Peacock on January 12, 2023. Following its success, the series was renewed for a second season in February 2023, with the first three episodes of the second season released on January 12, 2024.
In February 2024, the show received another renewal for a third season. We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
