Valorant Night Market Not Working
The Valorant Night Market is currently not working for some players. A hotfix is being deployed to address this issue, which may cause long load times or crashes. Queues will be temporarily down starting at 1:30 pm PT while the fix is rolled out. Players should stay tuned for updates on when the Night Market will be back online. The team is working to resolve the problem quickly. Please be patient during this process.
What is Night Market?
The Night Market in Valorant is a special store event that appears occasionally, offering players discounted weapon skins. When it opens, each player gets six random weapon skins at a discount of 10% to 49%. These offers are unique to each player and are only available for a limited time. It's a way to get skins at a lower price outside of the regular store.
Valorant Night Market August 2024
The Valorant Night Market runs from August 15 to 28, 2024, just before the end of Episode 9, Act 1. It starts on August 16 at 5 pm PDT, 8 pm EDT, and 1 am BST. The dates were announced later than usual, likely because Riot was busy with the game's console release and championships. The Act was expected to end on August 27, but it will last a bit longer. The upcoming Night Market will feature skin collections like Fortune’s Hand, Switchback, and Sovereign.

Does the Night Market Refresh?
Yes, the Valorant Night Market refreshes with new offers every time it appears, but only when it opens for a new event. During each Night Market event, you get six randomized, discounted weapon skins. However, these offers do not change once the Night Market is active; they remain the same for that event's duration. The skins offered are randomly selected based on what you don't already own, and you won't be able to refresh or change the options until the next Night Market event.
Valorant
Valorant is a free-to-play first-person shooter game made by Riot Games. Development began in 2014, and it was first shown under the name Project A in October 2019. The game had a closed beta with limited access starting on April 7, 2020, and was officially released on June 2, 2020.
Originally, it was only available on Windows, but in June 2024, it became available on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, though PC and console players can't play together. Valorant is inspired by the Counter-Strike series, using similar features like the buy menu, spray patterns, and shooting accuracy that changes while moving.
Valorant Gameplay
Valorant is a team-based first-person shooter set in the near future. Players choose from various characters called Agents, each inspired by different countries and cultures. In the main game mode, two teams of five players each are either attacking or defending. Each Agent has special abilities that need to be charged, including a powerful ultimate ability that charges up through actions like getting kills, dying, or completing objectives.
Every round starts with players having a basic pistol and a limited number of ability charges. Players can buy better weapons and more ability charges using in-game money earned based on how well they performed in the previous round, kills they made, or objectives they completed. Weapons include pistols, submachine guns, shotguns, machine guns, assault rifles, and sniper rifles, each with its own unique shooting pattern that players need to control to aim accurately.
Currently, there are 24 Agents to choose from, with 5 Agents unlocked when you start the game. The rest can be unlocked by earning Kingdom Credits, which are collected by playing the game or completing tasks. New Agents can also be unlocked within the first 28 days of their release using Valorant Points (VP), which can be purchased with real money, or through special events and Xbox Game Pass. VP can be used to buy cosmetic items or new Agents.
