Visions of Mana Release Date
"Visions of Mana" will be released on August 29, 2024, and you can pre-order it now. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, priced at $59.99 USD for all platforms. All pre-orders include a special in-game item called the Brave Blade weapon. There is also a Digital Deluxe Edition with 24 hours of early access, a Mana Superstars Costume Set, and a soundtrack bundle. The Collector's Edition costs $199.99 and comes with a physical art book, a Ramcoh plush, the full soundtrack, and a unique box.
Visions of Mana Gameplay
"Visions of Mana" is set in a fantasy world where players control Val, a young man from the Fire Village of Tianeea. He protects his childhood friend, Hinna, during her pilgrimage to the sacred Mana Tree, which governs the flow of mana in their world.
Val is joined by Morley, a cat-man and swift attacker with a traumatic past, and Careena, a half-human, half-dragon called "The One-Winged Oracle," who is always with her dragon companion, Ramcoh, the child of a sacred beast.
The game is an action role-playing game with real-time combat and "semi-open world" areas consisting of large maps. Players can freely explore these areas while advancing the story. They can control any member of their three-person party, each with unique skills.
Characters can unlock new combat classes by acquiring items called Spirit Vessels, allowing access to new abilities and powerful attacks known as Class Strikes.
Visions of Mana Characters
Visions of Mana: All Playable Characters Confirmed
All Party Members in Visions of Mana
"Visions of Mana" features five main playable characters, each with a unique background and fighting style.
- Val: The apparent main protagonist, Val, has wavy red hair and wields a giant sword. In the trailer, he uses aerial slashes and fire magic to defeat enemies. He is dedicated to protecting Hinna and takes this responsibility very seriously.
- Careena: Known as the Oracle of Wind, Careena uses wind-elemental magic to slice through groups of enemies. She is also skilled in aerial combat, launching herself into the air and juggling foes. In the trailer, her voice lines suggest she’s determined to prove her title as an alm, possibly challenging others or seeking Hinna's crown.
- Morley: The game’s catboy character, Morley, is a fencer with an elegant fighting style. He defends his homeland, which has lost its guardian Elemental spirit. Morley uses sword thrusts and area-of-effect (AoE) magic to stun and overwhelm enemies.
- Palamena: Joining Val and Hinna on their journey, Palamena calls herself the Queen of the Deep, hinting at her underwater domain. In combat, she combines martial arts with mace attacks to defeat enemies.
- Julei: A forest sprite, Julei plays the lute and uses magic vines to ensnare enemies. She awaits the arrival of a fairy, a significant event for her woodland community. Julei can also summon spectral daggers or transform into a ball of flora to slam down on enemies, creating a wide-ranging attack.
Additionally, "Visions of Mana" includes three support characters: Hinna, Aesh, and Ramcoh. While they can’t be controlled directly, they can assist in battles with special moves that provide extra damage and support to the main characters. Players can also summon certain animal companions for transportation outside of combat.
Visions of Mana PS5
"Visions of Mana" for PS5, developed by Square Enix, will be released on August 29, 2024, at 09:30 AM GMT+5:30. The Standard Edition is priced at $59.99 and is available for pre-order. This game supports offline play, single-player mode, and Remote Play.
It also uses the PS5's DualSense controller for vibration and trigger effects. The game is rated Teen due to fantasy violence and mild suggestive themes and includes in-game purchases. Besides the Standard Edition, there's a Digital Deluxe Edition for $79.99, which offers early access to the game, the Mana Superstars Costume Set, and the Mana Series BGM Bundle.
Both editions are now available for pre-order, providing fans with options to enhance their gaming experience.
