What Happened to Eric Bolling on Newsmax?
Eric Bolling, host of Newsmax's "The Balance," left the show on Friday after three years. He said he is leaving to start new projects. The announcement was made on Bolling's website, stating that he and the network decided to go their separate ways and that more information about his future plans would be coming soon. A Newsmax spokesperson also said that the departure was mutual and wished Eric Bolling well in his future projects.
The spokesperson said that Bolling's 8 p.m. ET show, "The Balance," will be canceled and temporarily replaced by "Prime News," which will have different hosts until a new primetime show is announced this summer. The statement on Bolling's website says, "Eric and Newsmax are thankful for their time together and proud of the work they have done."

Eric Bolling is an American TV personality and conservative political commentator. He is also an author and financial commentator. Bolling has worked as a commentator on financial issues for TV, especially for Fox News. He hosted the shows Cashin' In on Fox Business Channel and The Five on Fox News Channel before leaving in May 2017. He has written two books: Wake Up America (2016) and The Swamp: Washington's Murky Pool of Corruption and Cronyism and How Trump Can Drain It (2017).
In September 2017, Bolling was let go from Fox News. After that, he hosted the TV shows America on TheBlaze and America This Week, which was produced by Sinclair Broadcast Group and aired on their stations as a Sunday morning talk show. Most recently, Bolling hosted a nightly hour-long show called Eric Bolling The Balance on Newsmax TV, from July 5, 2021, until May 31, 2024.

His son's death occurred on the same day he departed Fox News.
