What Happened To Forrester on FBI International?
Forrester is leaving the show in the upcoming episode. Vo soon met Special Agent Brian Lang from Chicago Med. He was brought in for this case and seems to have PTSD, though the cause of his violent flashbacks is still unclear. The team soon discovered that Forrester's mother, a double agent in hiding, was involved. Forrester received a message on how to find her, so everyone assumed he went to look for her, though they had no direct proof.
When the billionaire's killer was caught, he offered to reveal the location of Forrester and his mother in exchange for immunity, putting Agent Lang in a tough spot. Amanda (Christina Wolfe) got the NSA agent to reveal where Forrester's mother was. The team then asked Lang to help find their missing boss. He hesitated, and the episode ended.
In the promo for the season finale, Lang agrees to help and leads the operation, even if some team members might need to bend the rules. As already said, Forrester is leaving the show, so the question is whether he dies or goes into hiding with his mother. If he stays alive and not in hiding, it seems unlikely he wouldn't say goodbye to his team.

About FBI International
FBI: International is a TV show about crime that airs on CBS. It's the second spin-off of Dick Wolf's FBI drama and the third show in the FBI series. The series follows a team of FBI agents who investigate crime and terrorism in other countries. It started airing on September 21, 2021, and a full season was ordered in October 2021.
In May 2022, CBS decided to continue the show for two more seasons. The second season started on September 20, 2022. The third season began on February 13, 2024, later than expected because of strikes by the Writers Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. Due to the strikes, the third season will have only 13 episodes. In April 2024, the series was approved for a fourth season.
FBI International Plot
The series follows the FBI's "Fly Team" based in Budapest, handling threats against America in Europe. Supervised by tough agent Scott Forrester, the team includes Jamie Kellett, second in command, Andre Raines, an accounting expert, and Cameron Vo, an interrogation specialist. They're assisted by Katrin Jaeger, a seasoned Europol Agent, until Megan "Smitty" Garretson takes over in season 1.
Season 3 begins with the Fly Team's headquarters exploding, leading to changes: Amanda Tate joins as a tech analyst, and Kellett returns to the DC Field Office. Alongside tackling various criminal and terror threats, the team deals with challenges operating abroad, like working with foreign law enforcement and firearm restrictions. The show aims to stand out by highlighting international settings, unlike most American police shows set solely in the US.
