Force holds a record 157 career victories in drag racing, making him one of the sport's most dominant figures. He graduated from Bell Gardens High School and briefly attended Cerritos Junior College, where he played football. Force's family is deeply involved in drag racing; his daughters Ashley Force Hood, Brittany Force, and Courtney Force are all accomplished racers, with his eldest daughter Adria Hight serving as the CFO of JFR. John Force is affectionately known as "Brute Force" among fellow racers and announcers, a nod to his formidable presence and string of successes in the sport.
