Soldier Boy is a superhero character in the comic series Herogasm and The Boys, created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. There are three versions of Soldier Boy. The third Soldier Boy leads the superhero team Payback and is one of the few good Supes who hates bad language.

Every year, he has sex with Homelander, thinking it will let him join Homelander's team, the Seven. Butcher, a CIA agent, captures and kills Soldier Boy for information about Homelander. The original Soldier Boy died during World War II, replaced by the second Soldier Boy.

In the TV show The Boys, Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles, appears in Season 3. He is the first American Supe created in World War II. During the Cold War, his team betrayed him, and he was captured by the Russians.

In the final showdown, Soldier Boy unleashes a powerful explosion. Butcher, wanting to protect Ryan, attacks Soldier Boy with a laser, causing a fight between them. Queen Maeve steps in and sacrifices herself to stop Soldier Boy’s explosion, saving New York City but losing her eye and powers in the process.

After the battle, Soldier Boy is subdued and put back into cryogenic sleep, ensuring he can't cause any more harm. This brings his chaotic journey in Season 3 to an end.

Does Soldier Boy Die in Season 3?

In Season 3 of The Boys, Soldier Boy does not die. At the end of the season, Soldier Boy is captured by Grace Mallory after a big fight at the Seven Tower. He is just a part of Cate's imagination. The real Soldier Boy, from The Boys series, is still alive. In The Boys Season 3, Soldier Boy was put back into a gas chamber and left unconscious.
