What Happened to Stan Edgar in the Boys?
After Stillwell dies in season 1, Stan Edgar becomes more important in season 2. He adds Stormfront to the Seven and tells Homelander, "We are not a superhero company. We are a pharmaceutical company." When Starlight reveals that the supes' powers come from Compound V, Edgar sends the Seven to catch a super-powered terrorist.
Who is actually Kimiko's brother, Kenji. The Boys try to save Kenji, but Stormfront kills him, ignoring Homelander's orders. Edgar uses this to blame Stillwell and rogue scientists for Compound V and argues that superheroes are needed to fight super terrorists. However, when Stormfront's Nazi past is exposed, Edgar's plans are delayed.
Why is Stan Edgar Not Afraid of Homelander?
Stan Edgar is probably the only character in The Boys who isn’t afraid of Homelander. Unlike Billy Butcher, Stan doesn't hate Homelander but sees him as a big child with simple desires. According to Esposito, who portrays the role of Stan, his character does not fear Homelander and knows exactly what he wants.
In the second season, Stan remains composed and explains to Homelander how Vought operates, indicating that he is not intimidated. He doesn’t seem as dangerous; he is only interested in affection and popularity, says Stan.Stan's ability to manage Homelander's expectations and control him shows his strength and understanding.

Giancarlo Esposito plays Stanford "Stan" Edgar in The Boys. He's the main bad guy throughout Season 1 and Season 2, and a big bad guy in Season 3. Stan used to be the boss at Vought International and Madelyn Stillwell's boss too. After she died, he took a more active role in running Vought and controlling The Seven.
Starting at Vought a long time ago, Stan worked his way up from an associate in the '80s to being the top boss. He's calm, collected, and very tough. Unlike most people, he isn't scared of Homelander. Stan is the smart leader behind Vought, making decisions that keep them powerful, no matter what it costs.
Will Stan Edgar appear in seasons 4 and 5 of The Boys?
