Genshin Impact version 4.8 will introduce one new character and bring back three others. Here's the banner information for the upcoming update:

In the first phase, you can expect:

• Navia, who uses Geo elements and wields a Claymore.
• Nilou, who uses Hydro elements and wields a Sword.

In the second phase, you'll find:

• Emilie, who uses Dendro elements and wields a Polearm.
• Yelan, who uses Hydro elements and wields a Bow.

Here are the events happening in Genshin Impact version 4.8:

1. Summertide Scales and Tales: This event is the main focus of version 4.8. It takes place in the new region called Simulanka. Players can join various activities to earn Primogems. They can also get a free copy of Kirara and her skin from this event.
2. Envisaged Echoes: This event is related to the end-game content called Imaginarium Theatre. Players can collect keys and use them to unlock special cosmetic effects for their favorite characters.
3. Bing-Bang Finchball: During version 4.8, players will encounter Basima the Fifth in Romaritime Harbor. They can participate in the tabletop game Bing-Bang Finchball to earn rewards.
4. Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens - Dew-kissed chapter: Players will meet Asagiri, an illustrator from Fontaine. They can help her expand her artistic work and earn Primogems and other rewards.
5. Energy Amplifier - Lemma: In version 4.8, players will meet Hosseini, a researcher from Sumeru in Fontaine. He introduces a new Energy Amplifier and asks the Traveler to help test it.
