Marcus Shoberg Career

Marcus Shoberg served in the U.S. Army for eight years. He worked his way up to become a rifle squad leader, headquarters platoon sergeant, and battalion civil affairs operations sergeant. In 2016, he shared that being in the army was the best job he ever had.

He also posted life lessons he learned as an army ranger, including the importance of caring for others and doing things yourself for the best results. After leaving the military, Marcus started studying computer science at Harvard in 2021 and plans to graduate in 2025. He also played on the Harvard rugby team.
