Who is the Killer in Presumed Innocent?
In Presumed Innocent, Carolyn Polhemus is found dead in her living room, and the main suspect is Rusty Sabich, her colleague and lover. Presumed Innocent is a legal thriller miniseries on Apple TV+. It was created by David E. Kelley and is based on Scott Turow's 1987 novel. Presumed Innocent Plot
The series Presumed Innocent is based on Scott Turow’s 1987 novel and follows the story of Rožat "Rusty" Sabich, a prosecutor in Kindle County. Rusty is accused of murdering his colleague and former lover, Carolyn Polhemus. The show delves into themes of innocence, guilt, marriage, fidelity, jealousy, rage, and obsession.
Unlike the novel, which is narrated from Rusty's unreliable perspective, the series has more time to develop characters and explore Rusty's inner thoughts over eight episodes. Although the series sticks to the main plot points of Rusty being charged with Carolyn's murder, it introduces significant and sometimes inexplicable changes to the original story.
