Will there be a Season 8 of 911?

ABC has renewed the 911 series for an eighth season just before its 100th episode. This means the show will be back with more new episodes soon, and hopefully, there will be more episodes than before. It's not yet clear how many episodes will be in Season 8 of 9-1-1. Although 9-1-1 Season 8 doesn't have a set premiere date yet, we know it will air on ABC in 2024. The network recently announced its Fall 2024-2025 Primetime TV Schedule, confirming that 9-1-1 will continue to air on Thursdays.

About 911 Series

9-1-1 is an American drama TV series created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear. It used to air on Fox and now airs on ABC. The show follows the lives of first responders in Los Angeles, including police officers, paramedics, firefighters, and dispatchers.

The show stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ryan Guzman, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, and Gavin McHugh. It first aired on January 3, 2018. 9-1-1 is made by Reamworks, Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision, and Ryan Murphy Television with 20th Television.

In May 2023, Fox decided to stop making the show, but ABC decided to keep it going and gave it a seventh season. That season started on March 14, 2024. Then, in April 2024, ABC said they'd make an eighth season too.
