| S-Tier | Death Knight | Amazing talents, great in Raids and M+. |
| S-Tier | Druid | Guardian top tank, Restoration best healer, Feral strong DPS. |
| A-Tier | Mage | Great damage and utility, especially Fire and Arcane specs. |
| A-Tier | Evoker | High mobility and strong new talents. |
| A-Tier | Hunter | Beastmaster top DPS, Survival good too. |
| A-Tier | Warrior | Arms very strong, Protection needs improvements. |
| A-Tier | Shaman | Elemental and Restoration doing great with new talents. |
| A-Tier | Priest | Holy and Shadow specs have improved a lot. |
| A-Tier | Paladin | Retribution has powerful new talents. |
| A-Tier | Monk | Fun to play with good abilities, but numbers need a boost. |
| A-Tier | Demon Hunter | Still good, but other classes have gotten stronger. |
| B-Tier | Rogue | Assassination best spec, but overall damage is just okay. |
| B-Tier | Warlock | Needs adjustments. Destruction okay in AoE, Demonology and Affliction low. |
Best DPS War Within
The best DPS classes in the War Within pre-patch are in the S-tier. These classes are super strong and have great abilities:
Death Knight:
They have amazing talents and perform really well in Raids and M+.
Druid:
Guardian Druids are top tanks, Restoration Druids are the best healers, and Feral Druids are strong DPS.
War Within DPS Rankings
Here is how the DPS classes rank in the "War Within" pre-patch, from best to still good but needing improvements:
S-Tier (Top Tier):
Death Knight:
Top 5 in DPS with Frost, and top 10 with Unholy. Blood is the strongest tank.
Druid:
Guardian is a top tank, Restoration is the best healer, and Feral is in the top 10 DPS.
A-Tier (Very Good):
Mage:
Great damage and utility, especially Fire and Arcane specs.
Evoker:
High mobility and strong new talents.
Hunter:
Beastmaster is the top DPS, and Survival is now good too.
Warrior:
Arms is very strong, but Protection needs improvements.
Shaman:
Elemental and Restoration are doing great with new talents.
Priest:
Holy and Shadow specs have improved a lot.
Paladin:
Retribution has powerful new talents.
Monk:
Fun to play with good abilities, but numbers need a boost.
Demon Hunter:
Still good, but other classes have gotten stronger.
B-Tier (Good but Needs Improvement):
Rogue:
Assassination is the best spec, but overall damage is just okay.
Warlock:
Needs adjustments. Destruction is okay in AoE, but Demonology and Affliction are at the bottom.
Remember, this ranking is based on the pre-patch, and things might change when "The War Within" fully releases. The best class is the one you enjoy playing the most.
