Season 1

Faith and her ex-boyfriend Isaac cover up the murder by burning down the house with Busi inside. They rescue Busi's baby, Zobuhle, and Isaac raises her as his own, naming her Onalerona. As she grows up, she dreams of becoming a top designer, unaware of her dark past.
Season 2
The story continues with the Zwide and Molapo families dealing with the fallout from previous events. Funani seeks revenge on Faith and Isaac, while Ona struggles with her true identity. A new villain, Alex Khadzi, emerges, challenging Funani's fashion empire. Faith is divorced and impoverished, and moves in with new characters Shoki and Soka.
Season 3
The Zwide family is devastated by the death of their son Senzo. Molefe learns that Dorothy is pregnant, and the family faces threats from Nandipha Khadzi, who seeks revenge for her brother Alex's death.
Season 4
Following Nandipha's death, Busie returns to the Zwides. Funani decides to start fresh and leaves House of Zwide, passing on his legacy to Nkosikhona and Zobuhle. Faith's ex-convict brother, Msizi, returns, causing trouble. Isaac and Maria develop a romantic relationship, and Mampho and her cousin Thato start a new fashion label.
